Boarding
Twin Hearts occasionally accepts new boarders who fit into our
environment. We are not a show barn, although many of our past and
present riders continue to show their horses in many different
disciplines. Showing is not our main priority and trail riders and retirees are more than welcome.
If you are looking for a quiet place to spend time with your horse, whether it is trail riding, galloping in the back field, or simply taking advantage of the many jumps & cavaleties in our grass ring, Twin Hearts may be the place for you. Our horses are on 24hr turnout in our paddocks that take up most of our 20 acres and are placed close to the barn in the winter and enjoy lush grass paddocks throughout the summer and fall. Horses are inspected daily when fed their morning grain so injuries or illness are spotted as soon as they happen, horses are also brought in on cold and stormy nights. Our barn has 7 box stalls filled with stonedust and rubber matting and are all open on top for ventilation. Our tack room has been recently renovated and is heated in the winter and cool in the summer. Cross-Ties are located both inside and out.
Twin Hearts staff are experienced and knowledgeable horse people and have your horses best interest at heart and have lots of experience with both young and senior horses. Many boarders have noticed a huge improvement in their horses since moving to Twin Hearts, they say their horses are much calmer and appear happier and have improved ground manners. We credit this to the increased turnout time, a natural herd setting, and our firm but gentle caretakers.
